this is probably going to be one of the longest post i had cause i had been missing for quite a while, and i got loads of photos and updates to be shared here.
This goes way back to 4th February, when i met my jc girls over for 'dinner' cause we were going to celebrate bella's birthday! :D
I didnt make it for the dinner at the end cause i got something on last minute so i only went to meet them for a little while at around 6-7 pm. So glad managed to meet for a little while, and just laughed and also snipped some photos! :D
I am going steamboat with them this coming Sunday so i guess, we can catch up more and gonna photo rape like some crazy ass. But for now, i have these for you all :))
Happy Belated Birthday my dear bella, you have always been a gift to me and i really love you like a gem :))

Then on 5th February itself, Sam told me that she didnt go to work (again!) cause she didnt feel like (likka self-employed), and nice of her to drop by my office to join me for lunch and also ended up sitting in my office till i knock off! She snapped some photos in my office while waiting for me, and pretty photos are meant to be shared :))
We lunched at Isle Cafe (good reviews and definitely must to try if you all have time) at Pisces Centre(located just beside the School Of The Arts).
As usual, she rattled on and on about her work, her life (which is getting much better now cause of awesome me>hope you are reading this sam) but just a lovely afternoon cause normally i would lunch alone if my colleagues need to go to the bank to bank in the money).
My boy definitely made life much better. He frequently dropped by and make the effort to meet me during his nights out and this is one of our dinner that day(but i cant remember which day). Hahah. But always grateful to him during our meals cause he would allow me to cop his share and give me the goodies that i like :))
Very thankful that we are still together after so many minor and major fights and also for you constantly loving me (though you may be quite fierce at times :))
Anyway, we also managed to drop by Chinatown before new year to spice up the new year mood and also to get some chinese new year deco so called to increase the festive feeling in our house!
Look at all these cutie little figurines! :D 3 for 10 bucks, and i got 6 of it, 3 for my family and 3 for grandmama :))
Not only that, my boy got quite impressed by the stuff they sell there (so am i too #sua gu.)
Basically there is a pairs of chopsticks writing mama, papa, yeye, nainai. My boy got for his parents, but i didnt want to get any cause i think that a bit lame ah only buy for parents, then my gor gor leh?? me leh??
And all the yummy goodies heheheh along the streets, drinks, just very chinese new year lo! :D
Actually i expected it to be a boring trip cause freaking hot and the streets were flooded with foreigners but it turns out to be pretty good so i think i will drop by there again next year (lol cause my family hasnt been there for quite long already x.x)
And next fast forwarding to night of the eve heheh reunion dinner! :D
OMG, love this part of the year cause yummy soup, yummy goodies, everything just dam yummy and yummy food makes my mood yummy good :))
Love it always when the entire family gathers together to savour the food, to chat, to talk cock, to complain about getting all hungry skipping lunch at the start of the meal and then refusing to leave the tables with their belly being too filled up at the end of the meal. i just love it :))
But.. i actually hate the fact that i am a free-rider, always going there every year on the spot for the meal and never earlier once to help set the tables, prepare the food and stuff, so i will do it next year! :D
But then again, maybe next year i say i will do it next next year then this postpone will go on, like it has already for at least 5 years LOL.
This year reunion dinner started a bit later cause we were waiting for my daddy who was working (poor thing) but still night ended well cause i think i ate the most this year but crap off all the fats cause new year is only once a year leh :))
My Auntie did my pretty nails for me (reddish pink) and i was all geared for new year!
...
...but to be frank, i wasnt really that excited for this whole cny thingy cause i think it is getting more and more boring now that everyone has grown up and we have all distanced to become quiet teenagers that stick to our phones and siblings during the new year. but oh well, still a tradition.
On CNY day1! Started out pretty badly cause we left th house wayy too late at 1pm mainly because 1. my brother went out for mahjong overnight and he was dam tired so we wanted him to get some rest. 2. i woke up at 11am lol and took my own sweet time dolling up. 3. Mummy was talking to auntie and only after much dilly dally then we left the house to my ahma's house to pai nian! :D
Nothing much though, cause my maternal ahma lives just above me, at the 12th storey so we went up cause of respect and also for my mum to talk to her mother a bit cause normally quite packed with work. x.x
So we left ahma's house and went to my uncle's house somewhere around bedok.? And we stayed there for at least 2 hours.
My Uncle (grandfather's brother) is very educated and his side so called is those super well-off relative earning around 10k per month? His son has 4 kids and they are still living in a condo and hiring a maid. So normally they would be talking about stocks and shares and economy so i would sit there blur blur until someone picks notice of a small girl like me and the norm is to ask me what i am doing now and which uni i intend to go and something along that line :))
Nothing much as well, cause totally no cousins there around my age and all working adults talking about big bucks so i would just stare into the television and slurge on the drinks hahha. :)))
When i used to be a small little girl about 12 years ago, my mother would fetch me to over 5 houses per day but now that i am a old girl LOL, we only visited three houses ( less close relatives dont go ) and third house i went was my granny's house :))
Basically no one was there as well cause everyone else has left to other places to visit by then at 5pm. So basically my brother and i and one of my cousin ate steamboat (again!) with my granny hehe :))
tasted slightly better then the day before's maybe cause more boiling and the gravy is thicker if you understand what i mean :))
My brother and I stayed till 8plus and went home. My parents only went at 8 plus cause my daddy was working (had to do so to join us for more fun on chu er)
Next. fast forward to cny day2! :D
Usual annual event of meeting my mum's primary school friends whom she has known for over 40 years! :D
So normally in the morning, my parents would get all busy in the kitchen, whipped up food and stuff then we would bring over to my mum's friend house for a gathering!
Always feel excited for the day to see how much everyone has grown, and also a little catch up session that would start off a little awkwardly. ):
We left the house at around 12pm, and bus over to sengkang and camwhored with my brother in the bus.
Hahaha, normally my brother dont like to take photos with me but i think maybe due to cny, he did agreed and he look quite cute right! he dont look like 27 at all! :D
We lunch once we reach baofang auntie's house, and was quite boring at the start cause suyun auntie and shuzhen auntie havent reach yet.
They reached together with lizhen auntie at around 3pm, and had an enjoyable afternoon cause all the females gathered in the room and talk like never before :))
After that, we got drove over to suyun and suzhen auntie house hehe cause they stay in the same condo so this is like an annual procedure :))
I left at around 6pm to join felice and grace at felice's chalet!
Basically i love my girls cause we have known each other for going 9 years and we are going strong with meet ups and always love meeting them cause we would talk like never before, just like old friends and i like the fact that we are comfortable with each other just the way we are :))
We wanted to call Candy along but couldnt contact her but we all miss her a lot so we hope to see her soon. :))
So ate(again!) at the bbq and had a 2hour htht and good catch up session :))
Basically just love the way we can confine to each other and that we are still close as we were in primary school :))
We left at around 11pm and chu er ended well there i guess! :D
On day3, met my girls i knew from Cambodia! :D
I think i am really lucky to be gifted to have so many lovely friends and i just love Eleanor and girls so much cause although the cambodia trip has been over for over 2years but we are still as close to before and i love the way we talk, we joke around, laugh at stupid random stuff and most importantly love each other :))
First stop is Ronda's house where we lou hei! :D
This is my first ever lou hei in the new year hahha wtff cause normally my familz will lou in chu15, the last day! But with this louhei, hope that everything good follows us, and huat ah! :D
Then we gambled a little like black jack,before we went to amelia's house! :D
Love the fact that we all stay less than 15 away from each other, so very easy also the movement! :D
Amelia's house got dam loads of goodies~and a lot of popcorn chicken!
This darling also taught us how to play this game 0.0 very brainy one and we chilled there till 230 then next was to my house!
BASICALY i think that my house is the most boring wtff -.- cause got nothing much so we just talked and chilled for a while, and also camwhored under candlelight cause my house had this special corner so called :))
Eleanor's house is the best i fking swear cause it was filled with cutie softtoys in the bed and i think that cute stuffssz are sufficient to keep girls like us occupied and we stayed there for at least 2 hours! <3
Did you realise that all the bears has different clothings on??
Cause baby wong has these reallyyyyyy cute clothings for the bear so we could change and take all these lovely photos with it :D
ME SO JELLY FOR BABY WONG'S HOUSE!!
Yup, had an enjoyable cny day3 with my girlz and i went off for tuition after that! :D
On another day, went to meet my secondary school girls whom i had not met for super long and we went for steamboat :))
It turned out much better than i expected and also thankful that they have always been there for me throughout the years :))
Steamboat was somewhere near paya lebar and it had really great ambience cause it is very quiet and a bug that constantly flew to 'entertain' us really made the whole thing very enjoyable and funy :))
Our favourites are the dumplings, hotdogs and the chicken soup :))
I think we ate a lot for girls (we stayed for around 2 hours ^^)
I bought for them chocolates as valetine's gift hehe <3, nothing much but hopefully it made things sweeter :))
We trained back and also camwhored many many :))

Yup, there are much much much more things i wanna share, and i will update it soon! :D
